What we do, from the first drawing to the final inspection
Offices, restaurants, retail, labs, and medical suites on one side. Custom homes, luxury lighting, and remodels on the other. The same master electrician runs every job.
Commercial build-outs & tenant improvements
Offices, restaurants, retail, labs, and medical suites. Repurposing a space? We help you decide which upgrades are actually necessary, then finish on time and on budget. Power and lighting, panels and distribution, load calculations, and CAD drawings, scheduled around your operating hours, with permits and inspections handled.
Custom homes & builders
An electrical partner for your next build. Accurate bids from plans, coordination with your superintendent and other trades, and rough-in through final inspection handled so your schedule stays on track. Work with builders
Luxury lighting, kitchens & baths
Chandeliers, pendants, sconces, and layered lighting plans, installed with the support, dimming, and controls that heavy and expensive fixtures need. Kitchen and bath remodels wired to match the designer's plan, so the finished room looks the way it was drawn.
Maintenance agreements
Scheduled electrical maintenance for commercial buildings and restaurants, so small problems get found during a planned visit instead of at 9 p.m. on a Friday. Ask about a maintenance agreement
Panels, EV chargers & generators
Panel upgrades sized for today's loads, Level 2 chargers wired right the first time, and standby generators for whole-home backup.
Service & repairs
Flickering lights, dead circuits, buzzing panels: found fast and fixed properly, not patched. 24/7 emergency service when something fails after hours.
Built to slot into your project, not slow it down
Send the drawings. A decade of estimating and CAD work means you get an accurate number and a clean scope, fast.
We coordinate with your superintendent and the other trades, and we show up when the schedule says we will.
Permits pulled, rough-in and final inspections scheduled and passed, so your critical path doesn't wait on us.
Certificate of insurance, license details, and lien releases on request, before the first day on site.
Should I call about my panel?
Most people don't know what's normal for an electrical panel. Tick anything that sounds like your house and get a straight answer, not a sales pitch.
Check what applies and this updates as you go.

Straight answers to what homeowners, builders, and property managers ask us most.
Are you licensed and insured in Colorado?
Yes. SelectricalE holds Colorado electrical contractor EC.0103846 (master electrician ME.3000820), led by a master electrician who is also licensed in Texas. We're insured, and we're happy to send a certificate of insurance to your GC or property manager before work starts.
Do you handle commercial electrical work, or mostly homes?
Both. Commercial build-outs, tenant improvements, and new construction on one side; custom homes, luxury lighting, remodels, panels, and repairs on the other. The same master electrician runs every job.
Do you work as a subcontractor for general contractors and builders?
Yes, and it's a large part of what we do. We coordinate with your schedule and your engineers, provide load calculations and CAD drawings when a project needs them, and keep inspections on track so your trades aren't waiting on us.
How much does an electrical panel upgrade cost in Denver?
It depends on the panel size, the condition of the existing service, and whether the utility needs to be involved, so we quote each one after a look at the panel. Quotes are free, and the price we quote is the price you pay unless the scope changes. If you're not sure whether your panel needs replacing, use the panel self-check above.
Can you install an EV charger at my house?
Yes. We install Level 2 chargers for any make of vehicle, size the circuit correctly the first time, and tell you up front if your panel needs more capacity to support it.
Do you offer emergency electrical service?
Yes, 24/7 for emergencies. For businesses, we can also schedule non-emergency service work outside your operating hours so you don't have to close.
Which areas do you serve?
Denver and surrounding communities, including Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Littleton, Centennial, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Parker, Castle Rock, Westminster, Thornton, Wheat Ridge, Brighton, Erie, Louisville, Superior, Lowry, and Central Park. Not sure if you're in range? Use the ZIP checker on the contact page or just call.
Will the work pass inspection?
That's the standard we work to on every job. We pull the permits the work requires, build to current code, and walk you through what changed when it's done.
Not sure which category your project fits?
Call or send a few details, and a master electrician will point you in the right direction.
